A fifth Marine from the Camp Pendleton-based 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment has been killed during combat in Afghanistan. Lance Cpl. Irvin M. Ceniceros, age 21, of Clarksville, Ark., was killed by small-arms fire while on foot patrol Thursday in southern Helmand province, on the Pakistani border. Irvin Ceniceros, a machine-gunner, enlisted in September 2007. He had deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Western Pacific in 2009.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Irvin Ceniceros is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
