An Indiana Marine killed in Afghanistan leaves behind his pregnant wife. 25-year-old Corporal John Bishop of Columbus died September 8, 2010, during combat operations.
His wife, who is also a Marine, is expecting their first child. John Bishop also has a 4-year-old son from a previous marriage. "He always had a smile on his face and was always just ready for a joke, and to say something funny to get us all laughing."
John Bishop planned to leave the Marines in February and wanted to pursue a career as a conservation officer.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that John Bishop is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
