Jason T. McMahon

A Fort Campbell soldier has been killed in Afghanistan.

Captain Jason T. McMahon died September 5, 2010, in Bagram of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with indirect fire in Jalalabad.  Jason McMahon was an Ordnance officer commanding 744th Explosive Ordnance Company, 184th Ordnance Battalion (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), 52nd Ordnance Group. He joined the Army in November 1996, gained his commission in 2006, and arrived at Fort Campbell in September 2008.

Jason McMahon is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. McMahon, and daughters Trinity B., McKenzie J., and Azlyn J. McMahon, all of Dover, Tenn.; as well as his father, Ronald McMahon; and mother, Sherry McMahon, both of Mulvane, Kansas.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jason McMahon is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
