Steven J. DeLuzio

Army Sgt. Steven J. DeLuzio, age 25, of South Glastonbury, Connecticut, died in Afghanistan on August 22, 2010, when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms and rocket-propelled grenade fire.

He was serving in Afghanistan with the Vermont National Guard and was assigned to the 172nd Infantry, 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team in Jericho, Vt.

His parents live in South Glastonbury, and his brother, Scott, is a member of the Connecticut National Guard.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Steven DeLuzio is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
