James Robinson

Army Spc. James Robinson, age 27, died August 28, 2010, after his unit was hit with indirect fire from insurgents in the Paktika Province of Afghanistan.


James Robinson was based in Fort Campbell, Ky., and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).


James joined the Army in February 2005 and was decorated with the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart, among other awards. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn E. Robinson, daughter Victoria A. Robinson and step-daughter, Emily B. Cable, all of Fort Campbell.


Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that James Robinson is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
