A 101st Airborne Division Soldier died June 7, 2010, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in the Dangam district, Kunar province, Afghanistan.
1st Sgt. Robert N. Barton II, age 35, of Roxie, MS, was an infantryman who entered the Army in October 1993 and arrived at Fort Campbell in June 2005.
He is survived by his wife, mother and father.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Robert Barton is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
