A newly commissioned officer stationed at Fort Campbell was killed on June 6, 2010, on patrol in eastern Afghanistan. 2nd Lt. Michael McGahan’s unit came under small arms fire near the Pakistani border in Nangarhar province.Michael McGahan was a combat engineer with the 1st Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division. The 23-year-old Orlando-native is the division’s 7th casualty this year. He’s survived by his wife and parents.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Michael McGahan is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
