Gays in the Military

Over 12,500 gay men and women have been dismissed from the American Military since 1993 for being gay.

Many of these men and women have been computer technicians and foreign language translators - fluent in Arabic, Russian, Farsi and other languages of interest to the Central Intelligence Agency.

The USA approach to gays in the military is a 1950's approach and is old school.

These countries listed below allow gays in the military:

Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, B
ritain, Canada, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy,
Lithuania, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Slovenia,
South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay, Australia

And the USA is less free-thinking than Estonia and Slovenia?

Let us allow gays into the military freely.   Get with the program of equal rights for all your citizens. You are the land of the free, after all.
