Derek Shanfield

Derek Shanfield died June 8, 2010, as a result of a hostile incident while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

Derek Shanfield was a squad leader assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 7, I Marine Expeditionary Force Forward.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Derek Shanfield is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
