A soldier from Owasso, OK has been killed in Afghanistan.Spc. Andrew R. Looney, who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, died in June, 2010, at Lar Sholtan Village from wounds suffered when a suicide bomber attacked their unit. He was 22.
Andrew Looney was assigned to Fort Campbell in Kentucky. He was an infantryman assigned to Company C, 2nd Battalion 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team. He joined the Army in July 2007, and arrived at Fort Campbell in February 2009.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Andrew Looney is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
