Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Edwin Rivera, age 28, of Waterford, Connecticut, died this week from injuries sustained on May 20, 2010.He was wounded by indirect fire in an attack in the Laghman province of Afghanistan.
He was a member of the 1st Battalion, 102nd Infantry Regiment of Norwalk.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Edwin Rivera is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
