Alexis Kane - a teen girl murdered in Kansas City, Missouri

Alexis Kane
Alexis Kane, age 14, died on January 11, 2015, at a water park in Kansas City, Missouri.

She had been brutally beaten and shot numerous times.

Friends stated that Alexis had met a male teen, 17 year old Isaac Carter, on the Internet and agreed to meet him at a convenience store. He showed up with two buddies. Friends went with her for the initial meeting and advised her not to get into a car with him and his friends. Alexis went anyway. Her friends followed her in their own car but lost her and texted her to turn on her cellphone's location services.

The three males she met took her to an apartment and then to a water park where her murder took place.

Three males have been charged with first degree murder - CeAntonyo Kennedy, age 17; Dominic McDaniel, age 18; and Isaac Carter, age 17.

CeAntonyo Kennedy; Dominic McDaniel; Isaac Carter
There is no known motive for this unspeakable crime against a 14 year old girl. It has been suggested that perhaps this murder was some sort of gang initiation but that is only speculation. It makes no sense whatsoever. No one kills someone who is 14 years old and who you just met a couple of hours ago unless you are a complete psychopath.

The three young men who were arrested showed no remorse while in court. In fact one of them smiled at the mother of Alexis.

No parent can reasonably be expected to totally control their teenaged kid's internet activities in today's world. If kids don't get online at home because they are monitored by their parents, they will do so at a friend's home or at school or at a library or on a mobile device or somehow.

Schools should be conducting awareness courses for teenagers about the entire Internet experience. Teenagers have to learn to make smart decisions about their own internet activity. They particularly have to learn to make smart decisions about the people they connect with online.

To any teenager who is reading this: The Internet is full of trolls, misfits, sexual
Jesus, pray for Alexis and
for all who have lost her
predators, sociopaths and psychopaths. Everybody isn't your buddy and your BFF. Just because they are on Facebook doesn't mean that they are sane. Beware of strangers who are rushing to be your friend. Don't agree to meet "new found internet friends" alone and do not go to their homes or to a secluded location with them. Do not get into vehicles with them.

Alexis was an 8th grade student at Smith-Hale Middle School in Kansas City. School officials describe her as a great kid who was into peace, justice and was against violence in every form.

Alexis' loved ones are devastated over her senseless and tragic death. They describe her as a sweet girl who loved her family. She will be forever mourned.

Alexis is survived by many loving friends and family members including her mother.

Pray for justice for Alexis.

God save us from the Lost Ones who bring death to strangers. Amen.

Pray that Alexis is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Robert Christman - a teen victim of a robbery in St. Louis, Missouri

Robert Christman
Robert Christman, age 19, died on January 11, 2015, at a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Robert was known as Bobby to his family and friends.

He had been out with his brother and a female friend in the Washington Avenue restaurant and entertainment area. At about 12:45 a.m., all three were sitting in their vehicle in a parking lot. The female passenger, also age 19, was in the rear seat.

Another vehicle pulled up beside them and a man with a handgun got out and opened the rear door of the car Robert was in, and tried to grab the woman's purse. She resisted and Robert said something to the gunman who opened fire striking Robert in the head.

The gunman jumped back in his own vehicle and fled the scene. It is believed that two other men were in the vehicle with him. The vehicle they were driving had been carjacked in downtown St. Louis the week previous.

Robert was rushed to a local hospital but tragically passed away later that day.

The police tracked the car to the Washington Park area of the City. Shots were exchanged between the occupants and the police but the suspects were able to ditch the car and escape.

If you have any information about this crime you are urged to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.

Robert graduated from DeSmet Jesuit High School in 2013. In high school he had
played rugby and wrestled. Currently, he was a sophomore at Southeast Missouri State University and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He had plans of joining the military.

Friends stated that Robert was a good kid who worked very hard at everything he did.
Angels of God, pray for Bobby and for those
who have lost him
He succeeded academically and athletically. He loved his family. He was uptempo, outgoing and popular. He would do anything for anyone who needed his help.

Robert's loved ones are devastated over his senseless and tragic death. He is their hero. He will be forever mourned.

We put this question to the thief who killed Bobby: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

Robert is survived by many loving friends and family members including his parents, Robert Christman II and Dawn Christman; and his brothers, Sean and Sydney.

Pray for justice for Robert.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Robert is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
