Washington - 1913 |
This photo is truncated. There are many more individuals in the original photo who have been cropped out in order to fit this blog page.
The thousands of people captured here are all dead. Every one. And so will we all be.
In 2113, someone will be on the computer and will be looking at photos of 2013 and will say "They're all dead now."
That is the impermanence of the human condition. All flesh is grass. All life ends in weeping.
Time is passing, therefore:
Let's all work seriously toward an end to War.
Let's all work toward justice.
Let's all work toward equality.
Let's all work toward religious tolerance.
Let's all work against religious isolationism and towards the Doctrine of Inclusion.
Let's all work toward providing peace and safety, lodging, food, clean water, health care, and the necessities of life for everyone, world-wide.
Do not forget us, Father.
All saints and all angels pray for us.
God help us all. Amen.
