Freddie Gray, age 25, died on April 19, at a hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Freddie was killed during an arrest procedure. He died of cardiac arrest and a broken neck. Sometime during his arrest and transport to the Police Station, he was severely injured and tragically died of those injuries.

Six police officers were involved in Freddie's arrest.

Subsequently, six Baltimore Police officers have been charged with various offences relating to Freddie's death.

Freddie suffered a critical neck injury as a result of restraints placed upon him inside the police department wagon. He was generally manhandled during this entire procedure. Freddie also tried to smash his own head against the sides of the van. Everyone has seen the photos of Freddie being dragged to the police van, seemingly unable to walk.

The police have to be seen to not only enforce the law but to follow it.
Pray for justice
for Freddie Gray

Regardless of this 25 year old man's history of poor judgement, he did not deserve to be mortally wounded in the back of a van.

Freddie's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Freddie is survived by many loving friends and family members who will forever miss him.

Pray for justice for Freddie Gray.

Pray that Freddie is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Rajinder Kumar - a Store Clerk murdered in Hanover, Maryland

Rajinder Kumar
Rajinder Kumar, age 49, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, died on August 7, 2014, in Hanover, Maryland.

Rajinder was working as a clerk at a gas station. At about 1:35 a.m., a man in a hoodie and with a covered face entered the store.

The man didn't say anything. He fired his gun and it did not discharge. So he fired it twice, killing Rajinder Kumar.

He then stepped over Rajinder's body and stole some money. He then fled the scene.

This is an example of cold blooded murder in the truest sense. The robber didn't even have the decency to ask for the money first before shooting the clerk.

The suspect is an African-American male of unknown age and average build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and tan or light-colored shorts, and armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information about the murder is urged to call Anne Arundel County Police. You can remain anonymous and earn some reward money by calling Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.

Friends stated that Rajinder send his earnings home to India to help put his teenage daughter and son through college.

Rajinder is described as well-known, well-respected, hard-working and friendly.
Light a candle for Rajinder.
Light his way to Heaven.

The local community is in shock over the death of Rajinder. They can't believe the cold-hearted nature of this crime.

Rajinder's loved ones are devastated over his senseless and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Rajinder is survived by many loving friends in America and family members in India including his wife; his son and his daughter.

Pray for justice for Rajinder.

God save us from the thieves and the psychopaths. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Rajinder is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Eric Lee - a Good Samaritan in Landover, Maryland

Eric Lee
On July 25, 2014, at about 2:30 p.m., a 12 year old girl and her 8 year old brother were waiting to cross a local road in Landover, Maryland, to meet up with their father.

They were approached by Michael McLong, age 25. He told the girl he was a police officer and tried to grab her by the arm and drag her to the back of a nearby shopping center.

At that time, Eric Lee who works at a nearby apartment complex, was driving on his way to the shopping center to pick up some supplies needed at work when he saw McLong and the kids. He felt something was fishy and stopped the car and asked the kids if everything was okay.  The little girl asked for help and Eric got out of his vehicle. Both kids were crying and hollering.

Eric asked McLong what he was doing and McLong repeated that he was a police officer.  Eric asked to see McLong's police badge.  McLong, of course, refused and Eric then told McLong to back away from the kids.  At that point, McLong ran.
The Good Samaritan reaches
out to strangers in need
The children's father showed up at the scene and Eric was able to call 911.

Michael McLong was apprehended by the police shortly thereafter.

The Police describe Eric Lee as a Good Samaritan and a hero.  He interceded to prevent an abduction which may have lead to a sexual assault or murder.

Eric says that he didn't do anything spectacular.  He just did what he would hope others would do for his family in a similar situation.  He said that God put him in the right place at the right time.

Eric is a Good Samaritan.

God bless him and all who come to the aid of strangers. Amen.

Terry Douglass - a victim of a Pit Bull Dog in Baltimore, Maryland

Terry Douglass, age 56, died sometime between October 31 and November 1, 2013, at her home in Baltimore, Maryland.

Terry was disabled and in a wheelchair. She had fallen out of her wheelchair reaching for a glass of water and the commotion had caused her own pit bull dog to attack her. The dog, Boosie, killed Terry. Terry had raised this dog from a puppy.

This dog had attacked Terry's nephew in April of 2013 when he went to pick food up from the floor and Terry was bitten when she tried to intervene. She had a gash on her face from this attack.

At that time the dog had been impounded by Baltimore City Animal Control, but was later released back to Terry's custody because they did not feel that the dog was a threat to the public and because she begged them to return this mutt to her.

All pit bull dogs are a threat to the public. This breed deserves a planned extinction. These dogs serve no beneficial purpose.  They are only marginally useful as nasty ass guard dogs and are sporadically fatal as house pets.

These dogs can lick your face one minute and rip out your throat the next.

Hi.  I'm a pit bull.  Can I
lick your face?

Terry's family considered the dog to be a threat to her and tried to get Animal Control to get rid of the dog. Terry loved this dog unconditionally and wanted it back at all costs, even at the cost of her life.

However, it was up to Baltimore's Animal Control to override Terry's wishes. Terry was coming at this situation out of emotion and her remembrance of a cute cuddly little puppy.

It was up to Animal Control to know the violent history of the pit bull breed. It was up to Animal Control to note that a dog that is biting and making gashes on the faces of humans needs to be put down, period. No questions asked.

Baltimore Animal Control says they support responsible pet ownership and not laws that single out a specific breed. Why not? Many cities in North America ban pit bulls because they are known to be dangerous and erratic.

Where is the City Council of Baltimore regarding this issue?  They don't understand what a dangerous dog is?

Hey Baltimore - Death by dog is not acceptable in a civilized country.

Terry is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including her daughter, Tamathia.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and gone the next. Amen.

Pray that Terry is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
