Katie Eager - allegedly a victim of Domestic Murder in Texas

Katie Eager, age 24, died on February 16, or 17, 2015, at her apartment in Cedar Park, Texas.

Katie Eager; Adam Solis
Cedar Park is a city about 20 miles north of Austin.  It has a population of just over 61,000.

Katie had been shot five or more times and died at the scene.

Her live-in boyfriend, Adam Solis, age 31, reported to Police that he found Katie's body when he returned home on February 17.

The Police believe that Katie was killed during a heated and rage-filled argument with Adam Solis on the night of February 16.  They believe that he then fled to the home of his parents in San Antonio before reporting the murder the next day.  He has been arrested in connection with this murder.

Prior to his arrest he had posted on Facebook that he was grief stricken and that he had loved Katie, calling her his "one and only light".

Adam Solis declined to speak to investigators after his arrest. He has not admitted to anything and is innocent until proven guilty. However, someone in Katie's apartment killed her. She didn't shoot herself five times.

Allegedly, neighbors of Katie and Adam heard them arguing and fighting and then
Jesus, pray for Katie and for those
who have lost her
silence.  None of them called the Police.

Katie had attended Pine Tree High School in Longview, Texas and graduated in 2009. She was an outstanding student and was captain of the "Precision Drill Team". She also was a member of the National Honor Society and editor of the yearbook.

Katie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013.  She earned a bachelor's degree in human development and family sciences.  She was currently working as a manager at a Restaurant and Cinema complex in Austin.

Friends describe her as uptempo, loving and encouraging.  She will be forever missed.

Katie's loved ones are devastated over her sudden and tragic death. She will be forever mourned.

Katie is survived by many loving friends and family members including her mother, Laura Rodgers.

Pray for justice for Katie.

God save us from those who say they love us and then kill us. Amen.

Pray that Katie is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
