Victoria Pinckney - U.S. Military

Capt. Victoria A. Pinckney, age 27, of Palmdale, California, died on May 3, 2013, in an aircraft crash near Chon-Aryk, Kyrgyzstan.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

She was assigned to the 93rd Air Refueling Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington.

She was known as Tori to her family and friends.

Victoria graduated from Palmdale High School. She graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2008. She majored in systems and space engineering and received her Master's Degree in Psychology.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, snowboarding, and crotchet. She also had a black belt and red stripe in karate.

Military officials stated that Victoria will be remembered as a patriot and a hero.

Angels of God, pray for Tori

Victoria is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her parents; two sisters; her husband Richard Pinckney Jr. and her son, Gabriel.

Thank you for serving, Tori. 

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and gone the next. Amen.
