Ioannis Kostikidis - robbery victim in Delaware

Ioannis Kostikidis, age 53, died on February 6, 2013, in Wilmington, Delaware. 

He was known as John to his family and friends.

He was shot in a botched robbery attempt as he was walking to his car. He was on his way home from an evening shift at a local beauty school where he worked as a maintenance man, delivery driver and to provide additional security at night for the students.  He also owned and worked at a tire business.

Two suspects wearing black hooded sweatshirts with their hoods pulled over their faces were seen running from the scene.

Co-workers describe him as a personable man who was well loved by the staff and students at the beauty school. 

Ioannis was born in Greece.  Family members describe him as a loving and hardworking family man. His step-daughter, Carrie Clements, stated "I loved that man." 

Ioannis is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Deborah, two children and two grandchildren. 

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life. Amen. 

Pray for justice for Ioannis.
