Brandon Goodine

Pfc. Brandon D. Goodine, age 20, of Luthersville, Georgia, died on June 7, 2012, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. 

He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. 

Brandon Goodine is a graduate of Greenville High School and attended Henry County High School.

Family members describe Brandon as their hero. He had told family members that everything he did was for his daughter. 

Brandon is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including his mother, Mandy Watson; his brother, PFC Christopher Goodine; his wife, Nicole and their 3 year old daughter. 

Pray for the 20 years olds who are killed in combat. Yesterday, they were just boys. 

Let us pray that Brandon Goodine is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
