Barun Rai

Spc. Barun Rai, age 24, of Silver Spring, Maryland, died on August 3, 2011, in Logar province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained during a vehicle rollover.

his way to Heaven. 

He was assigned to the 54th Engineer Battalion, 18th Engineer Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Warner Barracks, Bamberg, Germany.

Barun Rai came to the U.S. from Nepal, where he dreamed of joining the U.S. Army.

Family members describe him as a nice person who helped everybody. They also stated that he loved the military. Neighbors describe him as an upright person. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Barun Rai is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
