Daniel Cole - National Guard - Tennessee

Chief Warrant Officer 4 Daniel Cole, age 41, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was killed on July 9, 2011, when his OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter went down in Campbell County, Tennessee.

He was on a routine training flight, when the helicopter crashed into power lines.

Daniel was with Troop C of the 1/230th Air Cavalry Squadron based at McGhee Tyson.

National Guard officials stated that the loss of Daniel Cole was incalculable.

Daniel Cole was an instructor pilot with more than 20 years of service, including deployments to Iraq in 2009 and 2010 and Kosovo in 2004 and 2005.

Military friends described Daniel as a very professional man who took his job very seriously.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Daniel Cole is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
