He was assigned to 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Special Operations Regiment, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
William Woitowicz graduated from the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School in 2007.
He joined the Marine Corps in August 2002 and was promoted to sergeant Oct. 1, 2007.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that William J. Woitowicz is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
