Sean M. N. O'Connor

Lance Cpl. Sean M. N. O'Connor, age 22, of Douglas, Wyoming, died on June 12, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. 

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.

Sean O'Connor enlisted in the Marine Corps May 21, 2007.

His personal service awards include the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and Afghanistan Campaign Medal.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Sean M. N. O'Connor is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
