Jason D. Hill

Lance Cpl. Jason D. Hill, age 20, of Poway, California, died June on 11, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. 

He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.

Jason Hill was a 2008 graduate of Abraxas High School in Poway.  Jason enlisted in the Marine Corps on March 15, 2010. 

Angels of God, pray for Jason

 His personal decorations include the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and the NATO Medal.  

Family friends said that Jason's dream was to become a Marine. Family members said that Jason acted as their protector.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jason D. Hill is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
