Joshua L. Jetton

Pfc. Joshua L. Jetton, age 21, of Sebring, Florida, died on June 20, 2011, in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire.

He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Joshua Jetton is a 2008 graduate of Mooresville High School in Mooresville, Indiana. He moved to Florida, where his father had a home, shortly after graduation. 

He joined the Army in August 2010 and was originally stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia, before he was transferred to a base in Hawaii. His unit was deployed to Afghanistan in April, 2011.

Joshua is survived by numerous loving family members and friends including his wife, Alicia, who is expecting twins in August. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Joshua L. Jetton is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
