Lance Cpl. Jared C. Verbeek, age 22, of Visalia, California., died on June 21, 2011, from wounds received while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. 

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jared C. Verbeek is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
