Gustavo A. Rios-Ordonez

Pfc. Gustavo A. Rios-Ordonez, age 25, of Englewood, Ohio, died on June 20, 2011, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. 

He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Gustavo leaves behind numerous loving family members including his wife, Tiffani Rios and their two daughters, ages 2 and 7 months.

Family members described him as the best father, husband, man and friend anyone could have asked for.

Gustavo was born in Columbia and moved to the U.S.A. in his early twenties. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Gustavo A. Rios-Ordonez is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
