Spc. Jason M. Weaver, age 22, of Anaheim, Calif., died March 3, 2011, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
He was assigned to the 504th Military Police Battalion, 42nd Military Police Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

Jason grew up in Anaheim, Calif., and graduated from high school in 2007. He enlisted in the Army in January 2008 in Los Angeles and trained at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri before he was assigned to the Military Police Brigade at then-Fort Lewis in July 2008. His unit was deployed to Afghanistan last June.
Jason Weaver has been honored with eight medals, a ribbon and a badge.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jason Weaver is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
