Bruno Fauquembergue

French Soldier Chief Warrant Officer Bruno Fauquembergue, age 42, died in Afghanistan on February 24, 2011, in a non combat related incident.

Chief Warrant Officer Bruno Fauquembergue has served France for more than 24 years. In September 1986, at the age of 18, he joined the National School Technical NCO Active Issoire. Promoted to corporal in May 1988 he was appointed Sergeant. He served successively as Deputy Officer supply, crew chief of the auto shop, then a team leader at the workshop NTI 1. Staff Sergeant From 1 April 1995, he continued to work as a maintenance technician expert ground mobility, senior technician then materials management and procurement. 

He is described as calm and balanced and widely appreciated. He served in the Cote d'Ivoire, and in Bosnia and Croatia, Kosovoa and other locations of trouble. He holds the title of recognition of the Nation, he was awarded the Medal Overseas (staple "RCI"), the National Defense Medal Gold level (staples "artillery" and "assistance mission external) and the French Commemorative Medal "Former Yugoslavia".

Chief Warrant Officer Fauquembergue leaves a wife and two young children behind.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Bruno Fauquembergue is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
