the dead 19 year olds....

The deaths of 19 year olds in the military are exceptionally disturbing to me. They are the last age than one can be a teenager - and not an adult. 

Did these dead 19 year old boys:

Ever get a chance to fall in love, have sex, have children, buy a house, enjoy the purchase of a new car, ever celebrate an anniversary, ever do a barbecue in the backyard with their family and friends, in their own home that they purchased? 

God help all 19 year olds who die in war and conflict. They are boys and girls. They are not men and women. 

May all of the saints and all of the angels pray for the repose of the souls of those 19 year olds who have died in war. Amen.
