Samantha Greenlee - a victim of domestic murder in Columbus, Ohio

Samantha Greenlee, age 22, died on or after October 8, 2014 at her home in Columbus, Ohio.

Her boyfriend, Jacob Ferrero, age 22, led Police to her body at a wooded location in Groveport, Ohio, on October 22, 2014. 

Samantha was three months pregnant. Jacob Ferrero was the father.

Samantha was reported missing on October 8, 2014. She was last seen working as a waitress at a local restaurant before heading home. She missed a doctor's appointment and her family became concerned when her boyfriend did not report her missing.     

On October 10, 2014, the apartment that Samantha Greenlee and Jacob Ferrero lived in was engulfed in flames and was heavily burned.

Jacob Ferrero admitted to Police that he had killed Samantha but no motive was given. 

He also admitted to setting the fire to cover up any traces of Samantha's death. Jacob Ferrero has been charged with murder and with arson. 

Samantha's family are devastated over her tragic and senseless death. She is described as a caring and thoughtful young woman. She was helpful to others and often put others first. She was excited about becoming a mother. She will be forever mourned.

This entire incident is tragic in so many ways. A young woman lost her life violently. Her unborn child died with her.  A young man committed murder and may spend the rest of his life in prison.

When you are 22 years old, a life sentence can last for a very long time.  

Regret can last a lifetime. So can guilt. 

Samantha is survived by many loving friends and family members including her parents, Winnie Chutes and Douglas Greenlee. 

God save us from the Lost Ones who once said they loved us and then kill us.

Pray for Samantha's family who have suffered an unspeakable loss. 

Pray that Samantha is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
