Jeffrey Baker - U.S. Military

Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey C. Baker, age 29, of Hesperia, California, died on May 14, 2013, in Sanjaray, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 766th Ordnance Company, 63rd Ordnance Battalion, 52nd Ordnance Group, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Jeffrey enlisted in October of 2004. This was his second tour of

Jeffrey is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including his wife, Vicki, and his young daughter.
