Brad was a member of the Phoenix Fire Department. He had two years of service.
He had just finished fighting a mulch fire in south Phoenix, when a fire truck and an ambulance tried to pass each other on a narrow road. Brad, who was taking off his gear at the time, was pinned between the two vehicles.
He was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Fire Department officials stated that the Department is in mourning.
Saint Florian, Patron Saint of Firefighters, pray for Brad |
Friends said that Brad had always wanted to be a firefighter. He is described as honest, humorous and a fighter.
He had married his wife only 6 months ago.
Brad is survived by many loving friends, comrades and relatives, including his parents; three younger brothers; and his wife, Lena.
Thank you for serving, Brad.
Pray for all who die in the line of duty. Amen.
Let us pray that Brad is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
