Tage Toll - Law Enforcement - Alaska

Trooper Tage Toll, age 40, died in the line of duty on March 30, 2013, near Talkeetna, Alaska.

Tage was a member of the Alaska State Troopers. He had 10 years of service. He had previously served with the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Trooper Toll had been picked up by an Alaska State Trooper's Helicopter at 7:35 pm to assist in searching for a missing snowmobile driver near Larson Lake. They located the subject just before 10:00 pm and were able to bring him aboard the helicopter.

The helicopter was en route to meet with medics when troopers lost radio contact with it at approximately 11:00 pm. The wreckage was located the following morning after a massive search.

Trooper Toll, civilian pilot Mel Nading (age 55), and the snowmobile driver, Carl Ober, (age 56) were all killed in the crash.

Tage is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including his parents Doug and Maureen Toll; his wife and three children.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
