Tim Teuscher |
On March 5, 2013, a young woman, Lauren Wells, ran out of gas on an access road of the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Northeast Texas.
Tim Teuscher stopped to help her. He pulled his pickup behind her, put on his hazard lights, and urged her to get out of her car. Behind them another vehicle was trying to pass a much slower truck on that truck’s right-hand side - directly into their lane. The two had apparently just cleared their vehicles when the third car slammed into Tim Teucher’s truck, flipping it over onto both of them.
The Good Samaritan comes to the aid of others, selflessly. |
Lauren said that Tim pushed her out of the way. Tim was pinned underneath his truck.
Lauren Wells received several gashes, including one cut all the way to the bone. Tim suffered a collapsed lung, broke numerous ribs and an arm and had his spine fused. He’s been off and on a ventilator.
Tim's wife and extended family have kept a vigil at his bedside.
It will probably be months before Tim is back to normal.
Pray for Tim's recovery.
God help the Good Samaritans who come to the aid of others. Amen.
