Jennifer Kovach - Law Enforcement - Ontario, Canada

Constable Jennifer Kovach, age 26, died in the line of duty on March 14, 2013, in Guelph, Ontario.

Jennifer was a member of the Guelph Police Service. She had 4 years of service.

She was killed when her patrol car collided with a transit bus on a City street, shortly after 12:30 am.

She was responding to assist another officer when her patrol car crossed the center line and collided with the bus. She was transported to Guelph General Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

She graduated in 2007 from the police foundations program at Conestoga College in Kitchener. Instructors there remember her as a keen and talented student. She was enthusiastic and had a great sense of humour.

Police Department officials describe Jennifer as a vibrant, gregarious and dynamic woman with a sense of adventure. The Police Department is in mourning.

Jennifer had always wanted to be a Police Officer. She loved her dogs and riding motorcycles.

Jennifer is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including her mother, Gloria Kovach.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
