Andrew Quinn - Hit and Run Victim - New York City

Andrew Quinn, age 22, of Morris Plains, New York, died on March 9, 2013, on the West Side Highway, New York City.

He was walking to his home around 3:00 a.m., when he was struck by a car which sped away. He was taken to a local hospital, but sadly he was pronounced deceased on arrival.

Andrew was a 2008 graduate of Parsippany Hills High School. He was the class president in his senior year. He was a member of the marching band. He volunteered with a local fire department.

Andrew graduated from Cornell University in 2012. He was working as a real estate analyst.

Andrew's family are in shock and are deeply grieving. They describe Andrew as loving life, loving skiing and his family, dedicated and hard-working.

Andrew is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents Jack and Linda Quinn, and 3 siblings.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and gone the next. Amen.
