Patrick was a member of the New York City Police Department. He had 25 years of service. He was assigned to Brooklyn North Narcotics.
Patrick was working with other detectives in a drug buy-bust operation in Brooklyn, at about 10:30 am.

He suffered chest pains and was transported him to a local hospital where he passed away a short time later.
Patrick graduated from St. John's University.
He made more than 1,000 arrests and earned 35 recognition awards during his service with the Department.
Patrick is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, daughter and son.
Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
