Eric Wallace - Firefighter - Texas

Lt. Eric Wallace, age 36, died in the line of duty on February 15, 2013, in Bryan, Texas. 

Eric was a member of the Bryan Fire Department.  He had 13 years of service. 

On the night of February 15, 2013, a fire broke out at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bryan after 11:00 p.m..  Eric went into the burning building with his team, but did not come out after being ordered to evacuate.

He and another firefighter had reported earlier that they were short on air.

Fire Department officials describe Eric as a true hero and the best of the profession. 

Eric Wallace was honored in 2010 as a 100 Club Firefighter of the Year for off-duty actions while rescuing a citizen from a burning home and saving the man's life.

Eric is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Brandi and his 5 children. 

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
