Christopher Parsons - Law Enforcement - Missouri

Deputy Sheriff Christopher Parsons, age 31, died in the line of duty on December 15, 2012, in Mineral Point, Missouri.

Christopher was a member of the Washington County Sheriff's Office. He had 2 months of service. He had just begun his career with this department.

Christopher was responding to a 911 call at approximately 2:10 a.m. regarding an unconscious man.
An ambulance also responded to the call. As the unconscious person was being loaded into the ambulance, Officer Parsons was shot by a man outside a nearby mobile home.  That man was Gary Sancegrow, age 30, of Mineral Point, who fled into the nearby woods and who has been apprehended as of this posting.

Saint of the Police, pray for
Chris
There was no apparent motive for the shooting of Officer Parsons.  Sancegrow did not know Officer Parsons.

Christopher is survived by many loving friends and relatives.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life.  Amen.

Thank you for serving, Chris.

Let us pray that Christopher Parsons is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
