She was killed by blunt force trauma and asphyxiation. Her townhouse was later set on fire by the killer.
Hosie Taylor, age 36, has been charged with one count of first degree murder in this death.

A witness saw Hosie Taylor leave Deirdre's home at the time of the fire. Her blood was found inside Hosie Taylor’s car.
Hosie Taylor is being held on a $1,000,000 cash-only bond.

Police officials stated that Deidre was a wonderful person and a bubbly person. She was the type of person that you gave a hug to.

Diedre said on her Facebook page recently: I will live my life to the fullest until my God takes me home. Let’s love one another while we are here. God bless you all.
Deirdre is survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Let us pray that Deirdre Exum is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Deirdre is sadly missed today by Family & Friends. She will continue to be in my prayers. Justice will be served !
He was finally sentenced. Not enough to me though.
