A Taliban suicide bomber disguised as a woman and wearing a burqa, walked up to a group of French soldiers in a public market and blew himself up. Four French soldiers were killed in the explosion and five others wounded.

Pierre-Olivier had served France for over two years. He joined the Army in May of 2010.
This was his first overseas deployment.
Military officials describe him as having great potential, well-disciplined and eager. He is also described as humorous and morale-boosting.
He was unmarried and had no children.
Pierre-Olivier is survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Let us pray that Pierre-Olivier is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
