Richard McNulty III

PFC Richard McNulty III, age 22, of Rolla, Missouri, died on May 12, 2012, in Afghanistan, of injuries sustained as the result of an IED explosion.

Richard was a member of the 425th Battalion based in Anchorage, Alaska.

Richard graduated from Rolla High School in 2008. He was married in 2010. Richard was deployed to Afghanistan in December of 2011 and was scheduled to come home in three weeks. His wife is due to give birth to their first child in late June.

Family members stated that Richard was a really outgoing person. He’d do anything to make you laugh. He was there if you ever needed anything. 

Richard is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, Edward McNulty and Debbie Leach; his brother, Shaun McNulty; sisters Amy Cormier, Shannon McNulty, Lisa McNulty and Katy McNulty; and his wife, Hannah. 

Let us pray that Richard McNulty III is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
