He was a member of the Key Largo Volunteer Fire Department. He had 25 years of service as a firefighter.
Chris passed away after a 3 year battle with leukemia.
During his tenure with the fire department, Chris served as a combat firefighter, an officer and a charter member of the Water Emergency Team — the department’s dive team.

Fire Department officials describe Chris as committed and courageous. He is also described as generous, positive, helpful and friendly.
Chris is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Hope Fleming Kelly; his son Jason Fleming, his grandsons, Ryan and Jason Fleming and his fiancee, Monica Caceres.
Pray for all who suffer from cancer.
Let us pray that Chris Fleming is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
