He was with the 31st Infantry Battalion.
Valerian died from injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device, while on patrol.

He had been serving in the Georgian Armed Forces since 2004. He had also participated in a peacekeeping mission in Iraq.
In 2011, he was awarded with the Medal for Participation in Peacekeeping Operations.
Valerian is survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Let us pray that Valerian Khujadze is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
