He was assigned to Troop G, 3rd Cavalry Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, at Fort Hood, since February of 2010.
The cause of Joshua's death has not been released as of this posting, but it is believed that he died of natural causes.
Joshua entered active duty service in October of 2009 as a cavalry scout. He deployed in support of Operation New Dawn from August 2010 to August 2011.

His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with campaign star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.
Joshua is survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Pray for Joshua. He was just a kid after all.
