Antonio Burnside

Spc. Antonio C. Burnside, age 31, of Great Falls, Montana, died on April 6, 2012, at Ghanzi province, Afghanistan of injuries suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire. 

He was assigned to the 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Family members stated that Antonio was proud and honored to serve his country and chose to do so as a member of the airborne community within the United States Army. He served with great pride, dignity and honor. 

Antonio is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father and mother, Bob and Annie Burnside; sister Ramona; brother Milo; his wife Christine Burnside; and his daughters Ariana, Heartlynn, Angel and son Tony Jr.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Antonio Burnside is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
