He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Abraham attended West Side High School in Newark, New Jersey. He joined the Marine Corps in 2009 and was promoted to Lance Corporal in August of 2010.

Family members describe him as a great man with a wonderful sense of humor.
Abraham is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and a one year old son, as well as a brother, Randall.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Abraham Tarwoe is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
