Rezo Beridze

Georgian Junior Sergeant Rezo Beridze, age 35, died sometime shortly before August 27, 2011, in Helmand, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained in an attack by insurgents while on patrol. 

He was with the 33rd Battalion of the 3rd Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Army.

Rezo Beridze was a native of the Keda district in the Adjara Autonomous Republic in Georgia. 

He had joined the Georgian Army in 2002 and had previously served with Georgia's peacekeeping contingent in Iraq.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Rezo Beridze is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
