Michael Strange

Petty Officer Michael Strange, age 25, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was killed on August 6, 2011, in the Tangi Valley of Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when a U.S. helicopter crashed.

Michael was a member of Seal Team Six.  He had been in the military for about six years, four of them stationed in Hawaii, and had been a SEAL for about the last two.

Family members describe him as a friendly person with a sense of humor who was close to his family. They said that he made people smile. 

He his survived by many loving family members and friends.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Michael Strange is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
