Jinsu Lee

Spc. Jinsu Lee, age 34, of Chatsworth, California, died on August 5, 2011, in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of a non-combat related injury. 

He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

This was Spc. Lee’s 1st deployment overseas. Spc. Lee enlisted in the U.S. Army August 5, 2009 as a Unit Supply Specialist.

Spc. Lee's awards and decorations include: National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Combat Action Badge.  Posthumous awards: Afghanistan Campaign Service Medal with Star, Army Good Conduct Medal and Army Overseas Service Ribbon.

Jinsu was married with 3 daughters.
